I'm Indy, and I work mostly at first light

I live in Castle Cary and spend most early mornings somewhere between Glastonbury Tor and Ham Hill, watching for mist on the moors and the first sun reaching the high ground.

Nearly everything I photograph lies within an easy drive of home. I return to the same places through the year, waiting for the season and the weather that suit each one best.

More about me

Fêtes, markets and small celebrations

Local events are part of how a place remembers itself. I photograph fêtes, markets and small celebrations across Somerset, working quietly in the background so the day can unfold as it would without me.
